Doctor kat klinik cakap tu chicken pox, i told the doctor that Irfan ada demam sikit pagi semalam (ahad) tapi lepas bagi ubat demam tu okay dah. Tapi time kat klinik tu Irfan punya body temp okay..tak demam. Then doctor cakap ada kemungkinan chicken pox tu baru nk kuar or pengeluaran dia terbantut sebab Irfan baru lepas jab masa 1 year hari tu. So doctor just bagi calamine cream utk sapu kat tempat2 yg ada bintik2. No need to apply calamine lotion to all over the body. So the next day mama cuti jaga irfan kat rumah. Yela, takkan nk hantar nursery pulak kan...kang jangkit pulak ngn budak2 lain. yang peliknya..makteh nursery Irfan tu cakap..masa Irfan kt nursery bintik2 tu takde. Pelik.....

I'm a bit worried that time, bkn risau Irfan je tapi risau kat diri sendiri juga sbb aku TAK PERNAH lagi kena chicken pox! ahahha.. Kalau la berjangkit..abes la..sape nk jaga Irfan... Mama ni kan kalu demam lembik.. Dah la org cakap kene chicken pox ni sgt sakit. Org duk suh cari daum mambu bagai. Tapi tah.. tak cari pun..hhuhu.
Esoknya,(rabu) kebetulan temankn ayah ada apptment kat IJN terus mama decide nk pegi Al-Islam Hospital kat Kg Baru. Jumpa Paed specialist kat sana then dia cakap, tu bukan chicken pox since kat badan Irfan takde pun bintik2 tu. yang ada cuma dalam 5 bijik besar kat kaki and tangan and bintik2 merah kat tapak tangan and kaki. Setelah bertungkus lumus doctor tu membuka mulut Irfan, doctor cakap dalam mulut pun ada. Doctor tanya Irfan menyusu and makan ok ke tak. So far dari malam isnin sampai la pagi tu Irfan nenen ok je..makan pun macam2..tak la dia nanges ke masa makan or minum. (which is common to happen kalau baby yg ada ulcer dalam mulut kan...) So doctor prescribed antibiotik to complete in 7 days, calamine cream and oral aid.
So itu je la treatment sepanjang 7 hari. Mama buh calamine cream tu setiap kali lepas mandi and bila Irfan tengah lena tidur mama bubuh lagi. Lagi senang sbb tak yah nk bersilat dengan keaktifan Irfan..nk buh cream pun susah..
I was on unpaid leave for 5 days, tolak weekend and PH for christmas. Kerja? Malas nk fikir. Irfan lagi penting (Tapi sape yg gelabah ayam yg singgah ofis settle apa yg patut on wednesday tu??..hahahah..itu tanggungjawab.. sendiri tanya sendiri jawab)
For me kerja and family sama penting... kalau tak kerja macam mana nk jaga family ye tak... we have the power to balance it. Dont use anak as your reason for not to be productive and proactive. Kata superwoman!
On friday tu tgk Irfan ok je..memang tak demam and bintik2 tu kekal byk tu je and makin kecut and kering dh blister tu. Yg bintik2 merah tu faded away sudahhh... lega.
Sabtu and ahad Irfan will accompany mama to Twins of Faith Conference at PICC....will write about it soon..hihi
These are few notes about Chicken Pox and HMFD that i gugel2.
Chicken pox
Chickenpox is a viral infection in which a person develops extremely itchy blisters all over the body. (which is Irfan takde pun tumbuh kat badan..certain2 tempat je...)
Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, a member of the herpesvirus family.
Chickenpox can be spread very easily to others. You may get chickenpox from touching the fluids from a chickenpox blister, or if someone with the disease coughs or sneezes near you. Even those with mild illness may be contagious.
A person with chickenpox become contagious 1 to 2 days before their blisters appear. They remain contagious until all the blisters have crusted over.
Most cases of chickenpox occur in children younger than 10. The disease is usually mild, although serious complications sometimes occur. Adults and older children usually get sicker than younger children.
Children whose mothers have had chickenpox or have received the chickenpox vaccine are not very likely to catch it before they are 1 year old. If they do catch chickenpox, they often have mild cases. This is because antibodies from their mothers' blood help protect them. Children under 1 year old whose mothers have not had chickenpox or the vaccine can get severe chickenpox.
Severe chickenpox symptoms are more common in children whose immune system does not work well because of an illness or medicines such as chemotherapy and steroids.
To prevent :
Because chickenpox is airborne and very contagious before the rash even appears, it is difficult to avoid.

HFMD
Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash. (probability high)
Hand, foot, and mouth disease is caused by viruses that belong to the Enterovirus genus (group). This group of viruses includes polioviruses, coxsackieviruses, echoviruses, and enteroviruses.
Hand, foot, and mouth disease usually starts with a fever, poor appetite, a vague feeling of being unwell (malaise), and sore throat. One or 2 days after fever starts, painful sores usually develop in the mouth (herpangina). They begin as small red spots that blister and that often become ulcers. The sores are often in the back of the mouth. A skin rash develops over 1 to 2 days. The rash has flat or raised red spots, sometimes with blisters. The rash is usually on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet; it may also appear on the knees, elbows, buttocks or genital area.
Some people, especially young children, may get dehydrated if they are not able to swallow enough liquids because of painful mouth sores.
If a person has mouth sores, it might be painful to swallow. However, drinking liquids is important to stay hydrated. If a person cannot swallow enough liquids, these may need to be given through an IV in their vein.(alhamdulillah it was not this bad.. kalau tak kesian Irfan)
There is no vaccine to protect against the viruses that cause hand, foot, and mouth disease.
A person can lower their risk of being infected by:
- Washing hands often with soap and water, especially after changing diapers and using the toilet.
- Disinfecting dirty surfaces and soiled items, including toys. First wash the items with soap and water; then disinfect them with a solution of chlorine bleach (made by mixing 1 tablespoon of bleach and 4 cups of water).
- Avoiding close contact such as kissing, hugging, or sharing eating utensils or cups with people with hand, foot, and mouth disease.
- Taking over-the-counter medications to relieve pain and fever (Caution: Aspirin should not be given to children.)
- Using mouthwashes or sprays that numb mouth pain
